Here’s another set of posed family photos, taken exactly a month ago (July 19) at our child care centre. As you can see, we all had quite a bit of fun, and the photos aren’t bad at all.

 

This afternoon we braved the cool weather and went to the Collingwood Children’s Farm, where we met up with our friends Anealan, his new baby brother Kliment, and parents Arushan and Jak. I ran around chasing the pussy cats (my favourite was the big grumpy one) while Annalena patted the guinea pigs. Annalena also had a go at milking Patsy the cow, although I was more interested in yummy mummy milk.

 

I cracked open one of my birthday presents today: paints and brushes and a brand new smock. It was very cold outside, so I set up in the kitchen (so Beth wouldn’t spoil my art) and did some great painting. Then we went outside to hang up the picture to dry, and I did some more painting (even though it was very cold). One day I might grow up to be a painter like Asher (just look at my shoes).

 

Last Wednesday was my birthday. I woke up early and opened some of my fantastic presents (including packages from my nannas, my poppy, and my uncle Heath and presents from lots of other friends and relatives). I had lots of fun on the day, but really wanted to celebrate with more of my family around me. So today I had a little party. I just invited my closest cousins and a few friends who live near-by. (Sorry to all my other friends and relatives I couldn’t invite - maybe I’ll have a bigger party next year.) We all had such a fun time - I especially enjoyed the great red jelly (with strawberries) I made with mum.
